Good news for all those who have a smart Sonos One speaker and a Sonos Beam soundbar. Sonos, in fact, has begun the release of an update that introduces support for Alexa in Italian. This is good news that was widely expected. With the arrival of Amazon's assistant in Italy, it was only a matter of time before producers who already supported it in other countries made it available in Italy.

Thanks to Alexa, all those who have a Sonos One smart speaker and a Sonos Beam soundbar will be able to use voice commands to manage some music services such as Spotify and Deezer. In addition, people will be able to manage, always with their voice, some aspects of music playback such as managing the volume, jumping from one track to another and much more.

Thanks to Alexa, these products gain new features and new possibilities of use. Through Sonos Beam, it will also be possible to control some Smart TVs.

Alexa joins Siri, already present in some Sonos products. In the future, Google Assistant will also arrive, but its debut is expected only in 2019. 

The rollout is fully automatic. The only thing that the owners of these products will have to do is make sure that they are connected to a WiFi network. The rollout started yesterday evening so the new update should be there soon.
